I Was Lost Now I Am Found.

Way back I felt stuck with bucket loads of emotional pain.

This lasted from my early twenties to my late thirties.

Why, you might ask.

Because a strategy most of us use when it comes to handling emotional pain is to try and distract ourselves from it.

I am no different.

When I Was Lost

Thank God I never got into drugs.

I feel pain for those who find themselves going down this road and can completely understand why.

Drinking was my addiction of choice.

I use the word addiction here in the context of being my vehicle of choice when it came to numbing my emotional pain.

For years I just seemed to drift through life lost in my own world of self pity.

With understandable reasons for it as I will explain later on.

There were some good times and some successful achievements during this period.

Some will say this time of deep hurt has made me the person I am today, and I would agree.
