Today is Monday the 14th of September; Time twenty past 5 in the morning.

I got up at 3 minutes past five and I’m now out for a walk and, all being well, a run.

All the negativity hopefully clearing from my mind on this 5am running routine that I am trying to establish.

Crossing the road I feel like Apollo Creed in hoodie and Jeans.

Waking up today for my morning run was like, ‘Hey man what are you doing?’

Nagging voices in my head telling me to get back underneath the duvet and urging, “You can do this tomorrow!”

However, watching the sun come up is priceless, being part of Nature as it awakes; not just Nature but the city coming alive.

It is peaceful. It is invigorating.

I walk at a fast steady pace.

I do not yet have my running shoes or running gear

so I am in normal hoodie and jeans.

I walk up to the local park and do some pull ups.

Today when I got to the park I did 5 pull ups and missed my step, jumping too high as I gripped the bar I almost pulled my arm out off its socket.

I left home this morning without putting in my contacts, hence the wee mishap.
