Running With Lower Back Pain — My Story

Not sure why running is helping with my lower back pain.

I am on the journey to find out and that is why I started running with lower back pain.

It is written all over the net saying those who have lower back pain often find that running or jogging makes the pain worse.

For others like myself, running helps with managing lower back pain.

I say mange because running does not cure lower back pain nor does back pain go away completely.

Running helps with strengthening my core muscles.

And strong core muscles give good support to the lower back or back as a whole.

My history with lower back pain

I have had problems with my lower back since 2006.

The first time I made a visit to the chiropractor because I could not stand the pain was around the same period.

Ever since then I have used a chiropractor regularly.

I got relief after an adjustment for a day or two then it was back to having a very unstable back after a day or two.

The chiropractor had me on a bronze management plan.

Two adjustments per month at the cost of £65.
